As the founding institution of digital media Art major in China, our major has been selected as one of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate major construction points. We has entered into the national "985 Project Advantageous Discipline Innovation Platform". It has been a "green brand major" with high employment rate in the country for five consecutive years, ranked the first in the ranking of soft science major in Chinese universities for many years. We also won the excellent undergraduate education team of Beijing universities: Digital media Art undergraduate education team, Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award and other honors. Adhering to the education concept of "humanity as the body, technology as the application and art as the law", this major focuses on the cultivation of digital art talents in the two major fields of digital image content creation and intelligent media design, facing the historical background and industry development trend of highly integrated media and rapid technology iteration, and forms a modular curriculum system and cross-integrated talent training mode.
Educational Objectives
The direction of digital video and internet video is oriented towards the talents demand of high-tech image field in the context of integrated media. It focuses on cultivating high-level and complex innovative leading talents who understand the research, creation and operation rules of all-media video content, are familiar with the production process of contemporary digital film and television, and master the cutting-edge creative technology.

Design and creativity, film and television production technology, digital short film creation and other modules.The core courses include audiovisual language, digital photography, digital film and television editing art and practice, fundamentals of directing, modeling design, digital synthesis technology, digital short film creation series courses.
Educational Features
This major focuses on cutting-edge media technologies, explores new forms of digital media art expression, forms interdisciplinary school-running features that integrate artistic expression, technology application and communication values. It takes the lead in establishing a complete bachelor, master and doctoral talent training system for digital media art majors in China. During the training process, this major attaches importance to the combination of theory, technology and practice. With digital short film creation, practice-joint creation and other national first-class undergraduate courses as the main work, it forms a curriculum system that improves from sensibility to rationality. Combined with the summer practice semester mode, the whole process course system and the characteristic training mode of ideological and political works, the practical course system of "thick foundation - strong and progressive - reapplication" has been formed. This major is closely integrated with the forefront of the industry to build an innovative educational resource organization model with multiple disciplines. It has established cooperation with Hewlett Packard, Apple, Microsoft, Innovation Works, Tencent and other enterprises to promote open education and improve the industry-university collaborative education mechanism of university union, school-enterprise union, complementary advantages, project joint construction and result-sharing.
